When Becky isn’t in the studio teaching or taking a class, she provides psychotherapy to children and adults coping with life transitions, anxiety, depression and loss. She earned her Doctorate in Developmental Psychology in 2007, and has been providing therapy in Houston for fifteen-years.
Becky’s introduction to yoga began 30-years ago as a teenager. The concept of the mind, body, and spirit became a lifelong adventure. In 1996, she completed her first yoga teacher training to deepen her personal practice. During her life when growth opportunities arose, yoga helped her feel connected.
Becky is devoted to integrating yoga’s philosophy in all aspects of her life, which can be especially challenging in parenting. In class she focuses on embracing the concept of mindfulness and self-love. Becky’s intention is to encourage students to listen to their bodies and remain playful forevermore.
Becky has earned her yoga certification from Larry Thraen’s “Yoga of You” teacher training, and is certified 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance.
