This recovery will allow you to be even stronger for the next workout.
Many endurance athletes experience poor flexibility, core strength, balance, and posture. Yoga greatly improves these things and which can improve performance for the better – and is the missing key to facilitate this necessary recovery. A practice complemented by long-held, recumbent poses and accompanied by breath (prana), and use of props (bolsters, blocks, straps, bands, and blankets) – you will elicit the ultimate relaxation response, and expedite your recovery; real recovery.
Jennifer Laughlin and Laura Jones will facilitate a yoga recovery practice; and teach you how to get into your hips, spine, and ligaments, all while placing focus to the breath. You will learn the proper poses and techniques to expedite recovery. As a result of receiving, and putting this information to use - you may notice enhancements to your regimen; that may reduce the risk of injury, promote faster, complete recovery to get back on the road, back on the bike, gym, or back in the pool.
