Sarah Gallipeau - Instructor
Sarah’s passion for yoga was sparked in 2004 when she attended a yoga class filled with women of all ages and backgrounds. She knew she found her tribe as she listened to stories of how these women’s spirits and bodies were healed through their practice. At this same class, Sarah was taught how the breath and body are intertwined.
Primarily focused on the physical benefits of yoga for years, it was after she became a student at Some Like it Hot that she realized how her spiritual and emotional needs were truly being strengthened through her yoga practice as well.
In hopes of simply deepening her practice, she received her 200 RYT certification with Lex Gillian in 2018. Expanding on her personal practice opened up her heart to the desire to share her practice with others.
Sarah’s classes combine a bit of spiritual practice with a steady flow, focusing on breath and precision of posture. Her favorite part of teaching is the ripple effect that comes from practicing with students, who fill her soul with positive energy, inspiring her to continuously be of service to the community.
When away from her mat, Sarah spends time traveling abroad and hanging out at local places around Cypress with her two growing boys, husband and mixed-breed shelter dog.
