Yoga With Meditation
Classical yoga asana (postures), breath work, and gentle movements to build strength, flexibility and relaxation. There will be a focus on standing poses along with a seated segment that is suitable for all levels. A slower pace practice than vinyasa yoga – but incredibly strengthening and powerful! You will be guided through creative postures, focusing on your alignment through verbal cues and gentle hands-on assists, while you build strength, flexibility and a deep connection between your body and mind.. You’ll learn to balance effort and surrender in each pose. Arrangements of postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body - especially the spine (the main channel). Allowing for freely- flowing energy. This powerful class closes with a meditation to close practice, find presence, and slow down the "chatter" in the mind.
