Great for individuals with limited mobility.

Yoga has been shown to improve overall health when practiced regularly. As with many forms of exercise, it can be modified for people of varying abilities.

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support.

Students perform postures and breathing exercises with the aid of a chair. Students can experience the many benefits of yoga without having to get up or down from the floor.

Benefits include increased balance, strength, flexibility, range of motion, and stress reduction.

Preeti Keith will lead this beneficial class every other Saturday afternoon beginning on March 9, 2019 - 2:30 PM.
