Join our own Sara Kessmann Lewandowski, PhD in this informative, yet FUN workshop just in time for Valentine's Day.

The session will consist of discussion of the anatomy of the heart-and electrical activity. Sara has an incredible wealth of knowledge and degrees to back it all up - so take this rare opportunity to ask questions! 

There will be a demonstration of some asanas that are good for "opening the heart" followed by a invigorating practice.

A discussion about the heart chakra and how this links to mind/body/spirit will follow - what a great way to seal off the practice!

To close, personal journaling, for self reflection - and a discussion about how we can further "opening our hearts" in 2018 to continually improve - and a nice refreshment or wine spritzer to toast!

About Sara Kessmann Lewandowski:

Sara started her yoga practice in 2011 as a way to “just have fun” after many years in academia and heavy career aspirations. Since then, her practice has gradually evolved from a pure physical practice to the realization that yoga can benefit the body, mind and spirit. 

With over 20 years experience in healthcare, Sara has had the opportunity to care for people in many major Houston hospitals with physiological diseases such as stroke, cardiovascular bypass surgery recovery and many other conditions that required rehabilitation. With that, she learned that every body system impacted always had an underlying psychological aspect. This solidified Sara's desire to learn more about the holistic aspects of yoga. 

Sara believes practicing yoga is an alternative to transform the body, mind and spirit into the best version of oneself. When we continually work to become the best version of ourselves, we can effectively love and serve others.

New Moon Circle: Yoga + Meditation

New Moons represent beginning. They are for planting seeds and setting intentions for our dreams, goals and wishes. They're an opportunity to take ownership for what we want to manifest and to commit to the actions, thoughts and behaviors necessary to get us there. New Moons represent a time to give and receive, and to form community.

Join Inga for this celebratory event. We will start with a 60-minute gentle/restorative yoga practice to warm our bodies and hearts, followed by an Intention and meditation circle. 

Bring a journal to jot down your intentions/goals.
